Sarkhoshi Magazine

I am Manda Farrokhi and I do aquagraphy, photography with water, complemented with components of cities. My works often are layered and move within blue and golden colors. Curating these works feels like being underwater to me, timeless and free from gazes. I am not gazed at, I do not gaze at, and all noise fades. Together with other leftists, I work for a migration policy based on solidarity and against police brutality in Berlin, Germany. The photos are taken in 2024 and 2025 and visualize the dissonance I feel between violence, resistance and rest. They open up a magical spot behind the noise and let me be MY BODY.

Home underwater, Home in the blue
