Every book is a journey. Parallel Wor[l]ds is a one-day photobook display curated by Hengame Hosseini and Amirali Ghasemi.

Parallel to the BEYOND HORIZON exhibition at Tenthaus, Room for Doubt will present a collection of photobooks by Iranian artists and photographers. Join us for a chat, some refreshments, and the opportunity to browse books that recently traveled to Oslo.

PARALLEL WOR[L]DS was presented in Berlin last year at Kotti-Shop, alongside a participatory exhibition titled TRAVELOGUE. This year, our pop-up display in New Delhi, initiated by Hengame, was canceled due to the war in Iran and the closure of borders. Now we are in Oslo, hoping the books from our Berlin archive will find an enthusiastic audience. So please spread the wor(l)ds!
